CGIT
Canadian Girls in Training (CGIT) is a Christian program for girls between the ages of 11 and 15, who meet weekly from September to May for activities based on the 4 fold purpose: Cherish Health, Seek Truth, Know God, and Serve Others. Some activities CGIT groups enjoy include: music, games, crafts, Bible study and discussions, drama, banquets, parties, camping, guest speakers, and participation in worship services. CGIT encourages girls to build on their strengths and develop leadership skills.There are 2 CGIT groups in Ottawa at this time:
- One is located at Kanata United Church. 33 Leacock Dr. Kanata.

- The other group is located at Westminster Presbyterian Church, 470 Roosevelt Avenue in Westboro. This group meets each Thursday from 7-8:30 pm. For more information you may contact the church office at 613-722-1144 or Carol Ann Joiner at 613-228-1102.
